INTRODUCTION TO THE
LANDSCAPE RESILIENCE COUNCIL

TALS Institute has established the TALS Council ('Landscape Resilience Council' or 'the Council'). The Council combines the latest scientific advice on The Australian Landscape Science ('TALS') with practical advice on Best Practice Landscape Restoration and Management.

The Council consists of:
INDEPENDENT SCIENTISTS PANEL
The Independent Scientists Panel consists of scientists that are independent of TALS Institute and
  • have expertise some or all aspects of The Australian Landscape Science ('TALS'); and
  • are familiar with the TALS Approach.
See the Independent Scientists Panel and the Terms of Reference for more details.
EXPERT PRACTITIONERS PANEL
The Expert Practitioners Panel consists of expert landscape practitioners who are:
  • experts in the TALS Approach; and
  • have very good knowledge of The Australian Landscape Science.
See the Practitioners Panel and the Terms of Reference for more details.
LANDSCAPE LAW & POLICY PANEL
At present, the Landscape Law & Policy is not a permanent Panel. Legal and policy advice is sought from experts on landscape law & policies on an ad hoc basis.
